About This Site

by @ 9:13 am. Filed under Uncategorized

I started DeanBrowski.com in order to spark a revolution. I call it a revolution because 99% of all handicappers think you are too stupid to pick games and make decisions for yourself. They TELL you how good they are and they TELL you that you should just follow their picks. The Dean is not down with that whole vibe. The Dean doesn’t like to be told what to do, and so he will never tell you what to do. This site was begun in order for me to have an outlet on which to articulate my opinions and analysis on college and pro football games, and to show everyone that collectively we are the experts and can beat the professional handicappers.

The Dean is a believer in the wisdom of crowds and that is the initial purpose of this site: to assemble a crowd that meets the criteria needed to be considered wise. This will be done through your interaction on the site. In order for this experiment to work, I need all of you to be active participants with me and to involve as many people as you are able. My role here will be to start conversation and to provide the platform that allows each of us to share our insights and to have fun along the way.

This past football season was dedicated toward honing my abilities on the following fronts: handicapping, website maintenance and building a reputation. This past year was a success as I turned a profit in both college and pro football. You can read a review of my wagering year by clicking here: Year In Review.

I do hope you and your friends will join me and be a part of this trip. You do not need to know anything about sports or wagering to be a part of The Dean’s crowd. As a matter of fact, it will not truly be a crowd unless we assemble a diverse group of people. A quick story to that point: Did you know that all 8 experts on ESPN.com took the New Orleans Saints to beat the Chicago Bears in the NFC Championship Game?! All 8 of them!! So much for following the experts.

In order to begin your participation, all you need to do is register with The Dean. You can do so by clicking the “Join the Dean’s List” on the top right of this page.

All the best,

Dean Browski
