Buffalo Bills +7 vs New England Patriots
When I first saw this game on the board I was drawn to the Bills. The Bills have been playing well, late season games in Buffalo have been known to go opposite of conventional thought, and I am not convinced the Patriots are going to steamroll the Bills today. Then I looked at the line movement and the books are trying to get people to bet the Patriots as the line went from the Patriots giving 8 to giving 7. Thing is, the money is already flowing in on the Patriots so why would the book want to encourage such an imbalanced game? Because they know something, thats why. I will take the Bills and the points for 200.

Detroit Lions +4 @ Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins ups and downs are going to cost Tony Sparano his job. Only one home win for Miami this year, and the Lions are coming off their first road win in 26 games. Can the Lions get two road wins in a row after 26 games without 1? Not sure, but they will keep this close. I will take the Lions and the points for 200.

New York Jets +2.5 @ Chicago Bears
The Jets have more to play for and are a better team. I will take the Jets and the points for 200.

Oakland Raiders +1 vs Indianapolis Colts
Losing Austin Collie hurts the Colts and getting Joseph Addai back may feel good, but its not going to have a material impact on the game. I will take the point and the Raiders for 200.

It almost seems to easy to just bet against the Redskins, but it really does look to me like they are a team that hates everything about football right now. Not having Matt Cassel is going to be too much for the Chiefs to overcome. I will take the Chargers and give the points for 200.

There is not arguing that the Cowboys have been playing much better since they made they change at head coach. The Eagles and Cowboys square off twice in the next 4 weeks. I do think that Wannstedt should be done as coach of the Panthers. That is enough disappointment and failure. His biggest accomplishment is ruining WVU’s season a few years back. Thats cool and all, but thats not what Pitt football is supposed to be about. That said, they should win today and I will win some money on Wannstedt’s last game as head coach of the Pitt Panthers.
