Rangers vs Oilers Preview

by @ 8:17 pm. Filed under New York Rangers, NHL

The Rangers catch the Oilers on a second night of a back to back as they beat the depleted Devils at The ROCK Pebble last night. Lundqvist will be in the nets for the Rangers who have recalled forward Lauri Korpikoski from Hartford as well. Expect Tom Renney to do some line juggling tonight, although it is unclear what he will send out at this time.

I like the over tonight simply because the Oilers played last night and may leave themselves open to help the Rangers score more then usual due to their fatigue level. Furthermore they have a strong powerplay and weak penalty kill which could assist this wager. Lastly, they are a very fast team playing a more wide open West Coast style. The Rangers are a fast team as well, so I expect the game to open up tonight and goals to follow.

GO RANGERS!
