The Eastern Conference Finals are all tied up at 2-2 after the Detroit Pistons defeated the Boston Celtics 94-75 last night. The Pistons covered the 6 point line, giving The Dean back-to-back 5-star wins. The Under also hit. The Pistons controlled the game from the beginning though the Celtics did their best to keep it close despite their offensive struggles. Game 5 is in Boston on Wednesday.
Tonights action: The Spurs will try and emulate the Pistons tonight in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals as they go for win #2 in that series. The Lakers took the first two games in LA while San Antonio won Game 3. Tonight the Spurs are 4 point favorites and the Total is set at 192. Here is a question for you: “Why is the opening line 4 today when it was 6 the other day when the Spurs covered the 6 points with ease?” I don’t know, but don’t let it scare you. The Spurs will tie this series up tonight, because that is what they do. Manu Ginobili is listed as day-to-day, due to that I am lowering my rank on the Spurs but still laying on their side, for 4-stars.
Chase Utley had 6 RBIs as the Phillies scored 20 runs yesterday against the Rockies . . .The Phillies’ 20 runs against the Rockies comes the day after they scored 15 runs against the Astros . . . Tampa and Oakland have each won 4 straight . . . Kansas City has dropped 8 in a row and Seattle has dropped 7 in a row.
Keep on movin’.
