Wildcard Weekend – Part II

by @ 11:07 am. Filed under NFL, Wagering

Nice day yesterday with the 4-team tease and the Rutgers easy cover. I found a new appreciation for Teasers. In the past I have always viewed them as sucker bets that either screw you with some outlandish bullshit or they are games that could’ve been played as parlays, thus cutting your profits. Yesterday they helped me make up my mind. I was torn on the WAS/SEA game. Right, wrong or indifferent (obviously wrong now) I was leaning toward the Redskins at the 1-2star level but really was not comfortable with it. However, when you turn that all around and make Seattle a 9 point home dog, Seattle becomes a 5-star play. I had to sweat out the Under but the JAX/PIT game was downright easy!

Today I got some action that is crossing days. I am playing the Giants +3 at the 4-star level and also have a 3-Team Tease of NYG +13, SD pick and Ohio St. +13.5. I also have a 3-Team Parlay consisting of the same teams. I will make a decision on San Diego as a stand alone game closer to kick-off.

Good luck today!
