Saints have to start running the ball. They only had 19 rushing attempts on Sunday I believe. The main reason their passing game was as good as it was last year was because they established the running game. They need to do that first before they can do an all air assault.
I saw a stat where the Saints didn’t win a game last year when Duece had less than 10 carries. Aside from their offense being poor, their secondary couldn’t cover or tackle anyone yesterday.
Major blunder on my part with the Chargers last night. That is what happens when decisions are made after a 6-pack of New Castle. LT takes last years loss too personally and it showed. Norv Turner is a loser, I have been saying it, but I didn’t act accordingly. Lastly, the Pats offense is very good, as I have also noted, and they are playing with a chip after the cheating accusations. Bottom line is it is early in the season and I will bounce back.
