I have seen too many games decided by points that ultimately don't matter. I have no data to back my claim that it doesn't happen as much in football, but how teams decide to play the last 15-30 seconds of a game that is already decided shouldn't have as much of an impact on the outcome of a wager. I guess the thing to do would be to play money lines only with basketball, or find a new way to wager on hoops all together. My point is, for me basketball games are too much like gambling; that being said I love gambling, just not as much as wagering. Thats why I really am not comfortable with basketball wagering. Dean, USC had been kind to the bettor the previous two, and nearly got it done in its third game...they would have been plus at least four or five against the Hoyas...and could have beaten Ohio State... their loss and the loss by A & M took the starch out of the Dance for this punter...
